National Women Build Week: April 30-May 8, 2016.

National Women Build Week will take place April 30-May 8 2016 and encourages women to give one week of time volunteering with their local Habitat affiliate. Lowe’s and Habitat for Humanity have worked together since 2003 to build homes, communities and hope.  Our Women Build Day was a huge success. We engaged approximately 50 volunteers, over 70% women, to work on our new home on Nona Street. Lunch was provided by a local church group. Volunteers worked alongside our partner family.
