Habitat for Humanity of Greater Garland  is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, International, we partner with local individuals and organizations to provide safe, affordable, energy-efficient homes for low-income families in the Greater Garland area. National Women Build Week is May 4-12, 2013. Habitat Garland will be hosting a Women Build day on May 4th. National Women Build Week, sponsored annually by Lowe’s, challenges women from all walks of life to help eliminate poverty housing. Each May, during the days leading up to Mother’s Day, thousands of women volunteers join in Women Build days at Habitat affiliates. National Women Build Week helps Habitat raise awareness and recruit more volunteers to accomplish our mission. 2nd Annual Richard Christian Memorial Golf Tournament
Join us Friday, October 4th, 2013 at Eastern Hills Country Club in Garland TX for our golf tournament benefitting HFHGG. The club is located at 3000 S. Country Club Rd, Garland TX 75043. Bike and Build cyclists will be in Garland June 18-19, 2013. They will be working on a home for a low income family in Garland. Bike and Build funds projects planned and executed by young adults. Over the past 10 seasons they have donated more than $4M; built for more than 120,000 hours; pedaled over 6M miles; and engaged more than 1750 young adults in spreading the word about the affordable housing crisis in America.
