Habitat for Humanity of Greater Garland is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, International, we partner with local individuals and organizations to provide safe, affordable, energy-efficient homes for low-income families in the greater Garland area. Hotcakes for Homes Join us June 9th at Applebee's at 1440 Eastgate Drive in Garland from 8am-10am for an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. Buffet includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, home-fried potatoes, and choice of beverage. Proceeds benefit HFHGG. Tickets are $10/each and can be purchased here. Scroll to bottom of page and click on Applebee's Pancake breakfast. Print your receipt and bring to Applebee's on the 9th. This will be your proof of ticket purchase. Knight Roofing is new Corporate Partner Knight Roofing will donate $50 for each roof completed in Dallas County to HFHGG. They will donate the decking, sheeting, and shingles for our Apostle Build starting in June 2012. Knight Roofing is a family-owned business with a desire to give back to the community. They replace and repair roofs primarily in Dallas and Ellis county.Thank you Knight Roofing for your generosity! The support of corporate sponsors help us continue to build decent, affordable homes for low income families in our community. Bike and Build returns for 4th year to help HFHGG Bike and Build returns June 18th - 20th 2012 to start framing our new build at 212 Alto in Garland. Bike & Build organizes cross-country bicycle trips which benefit affordable housing groups. Over the past 9 seasons they have donated more than $3.3MM; built for more than 100,000 hours; pedaled over 5MM miles; and engaged more than 1500 young adults in spreading the word about the affordable housing crisis in America. This year they awarded HFHGG a grant to help fund the home built by Garland ISD Building Trades Students at Naaman Forest and North Garland High School. 2012 Apostle Build ![]() Starting Late June community churches will come together to build our home on 212 Alto. Look for our fun array of children's playhouses on display starting October 20th at Fire Wheel Town Center across from the AMC Theater, next to TGI Fridays.
